Every one is waiting for the month of march as the auction will be held on 29th of march as Pakistan Telecommunication Authority ( PTA) announced.It was announced by the Pakistan telecommunication Authority that auction will be held by 29th of march last month.But now its appear that PTA delayed the 3G auction in Pakistan may be few weeks.
Now PTA delayed the auction till the month of May or June.PTA is not fully prepared for the auction procedure and is looking an international firm for auction of 3G licence. when date was announced some analysts said at that time when last date was given that it may be possible this date increase to next date.PTA is also now facing some criticism on delaying the 3G auction and make some amendment in policy.This news was also in media that 4G licence are issued instead of 3G but it is not confirmed yet.The base price was $210 millions to $291 millions and defaulter are not allowed to participate in this auction.It is also explained in policy that company which gets 3G licence have to pay 50% of amount at that time and remaining in 5 equal installments.
One PTA representative said that final date is still not decided by the company and all the necessary documentation will be made before final date.3G lover in Pakistan are waiting a much for that time but PTA is delaying it more.It is also said by the media that launching of 3G is already so late in Pakistan and PTA should go further for 4G instead of 3G. As few people know that 4G is the latest fastest network in the world and in some countries user are using this network . 4G is participating the 5% of Internet traffic of the world.
Delay in 3G is not accepted by the people in Pakistan but unfortunately it is delayed and no one know when the actual auction will be held.
