According to one recent report mobile operator companies face a big loss of $14 billion due to decrease in sms service and the reason behind this is using of social networking sites and sending messages instead of mobile sms.
We know all this fact that social networking sites are most popular in the world and are increasing number of users day by day.It is said in the report of Owom Company that by using chat on social networking sites like facebook whats app and ,black berry messages, most of the world top companies have to bear loss.It is also said in that report that this is a big challenge for the mobile operator companies and they have to compete them other wise sms will be more decrease. Representative of telecom companies said that with help of proper planning loss can be reduce.Application which are related to social networking sites on smart phone are being collected internationally in this report.
It is also said that by send and receiving messages on social networking sites are preferred by the user and not so costly as compared to sms.In other hand while using the Internet service providing by these operator is not discussed in this report because the companies are also earning profits by providing Internet services on smart phones.No doubt this decrease number of user by is alarming for the mobile operators but may be by providing good Internet services to use these sites on smart phone may increase their profit.
