Pakistan Blocked 780,000 Adult Sites Send By A Student To PTA

A fifteen year old school student send 780,000 adult website to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). He said that these sites contain porn material and should be blocked access in Pakistan. Some of these sites are still in access in Pakistan.

He told that his friend and he both make a list of all these sites and all the detailed send to PTA. Before this he send a letter to Chief Justice of Supreme Court to block all these site in this country.After that higher authority decided to ban or blocked all these sites and send this issue to ISPs to bloc access to adult sites.

Pakistan recently blocked 13000 sites having adult content but some of these are in access on Internet.As PTA is blocking these sites but not blocking the proxy sites which are other way to open these sites like Blocked access.com and some other like that not know exactly but easily searched by Google.

Internet Service provider Association of Pakistan is now purposed a national URL filtering system to filter all these content.But besides of all these action is this possible to stop all sites or the gates to open these sites.Daily hundreds of sites are coming on Internet containing nude and other illegal material and it is not possible or easy to stop and block each site as they can use other ways to open or access it.

PTA is trying best to block all these sites but not serious to fully blocked.As some other Muslim countries totally filter the Internet traffic to the country and user are not able to even use proxy service example is Saudia Arabia.

But question is that why PTA want to block all these stuff now why not before this.Internet freedom agencies are totally against this act.
